TITLE: Assistancefor Persons Discharged

POLICY

The Fifth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services shall provide assistance and services to persons who have been discharged from the active supervision of the District who request such assistance.

PROCEDURE

  1. Offenders who have discharged directly from prison, from parole/probation or any other supervision provided by the District may receive assistance from any of the programs/services offered within the District or to the District's actively supervised offenders.
  2. The District staff shall make every effort to extend offender services for those ex-offenders when such aid will help to promote a crime-free existence.
  3. Offenders will be required to pay for any services rendered that offenders under active supervision are required to pay for.
