TITLE: Code Of Ethics And Employee Creed

POLICY

Employees of the District will adhere to the Fifth Judicial District Employee Creed (code of ethics) and use this creed/code of ethics in the day-to-day interactions with offenders, staff and the public.

PROCEDURES

All District employees read, review, and sign the Fifth Judicial District Employee Creed either upon hire, transfer into the District, or at the District’s annual training. All employees are expected to follow the provisions of the Employee Creed in their daily interactions with offenders, staff, and the public. All staff is expected to model desired behaviors following the Employee Creed, and to acknowledge and reinforce positive behavior on the part of offenders while pointing out and correcting or attempting to correct misbehavior on the part of offenders.
