TITLE: Collaboration Outside The District
To establish guidelines for soliciting input from and sharing information with other community agencies regarding the operation of the District and the development of plans which may impact either entity. To provide inter-agency consultation as necessary in order to disseminate appropriate information between the District and the community.
The District encourages and provides opportunities for input by appropriate outside agencies both within and outside the criminal justice system, in policy development, planning and consultation.
- The District Director, Assistant Directors or designee will coordinate efforts with community groups, citizens of the community, and interested organizations.
- The District Director, Assistant Directors or designee will participate when appropriate in federal, state, and regional efforts within and outside of the criminal justice system.
- The District Director and Assistant Directors may authorize various staff members to initiate and chair advisory groups and to participate in intra-agency planning groups.
