TITLE: Religious Services


Access to religious services is a fundamental right afforded to all residents and will be made available unless the resident is on a restricted disciplinary status.


  1. The Chaplain will maintain a directory of all faiths in the community area to assist offenders in attending the service of their choice. The Chaplain will attempt to help offenders obtain transportation if needed.
  2. Non-denominational Bible Studies are available to those interested on a designated evening.
  3. Visitors may attend Bible Studies if approved by staff and the Chaplain.
  4. The Chaplain will also help those whose beliefs require dietary consideration.
  5. The Assistant Director of Residential Services or designee shall determine the legitimacy of the requested service/worship or reasonable accommodation in dietary consideration.
